SCHOOL CHILDREN

Whenever we visited a temple or other tourist spot we were inundated with multitudes of school children. Most were wearing school uniforms which consisted of sailor suits for the girls and Mao Tse Tung suits for the boys. All looked very neat and tidy. It seems that at any time of the year, especially Golden Week, Japan teems with tourists and most of them are Japanese children on their once a year Government sponsored trip to another part of Japan.
